Chandigarh, is a city, district and union territory in India that serves as the joint capital of the two neighboring states of Punjab and Haryana and is bordered by the state of Punjab to the north, the west and the south, and by the state of Haryana to the east. It is located 260 km north of New Delhi, 110 km south west of Shimla and 229 km southeast of Amritsar.There is not much intervention in the Spices Sector at present and the possibility of development of identified spices are being explored by the Spices Board.
